VINTAGE REPORT
The vintage 2013 was one of those atypical vintages in Toro. Sprouting was slow. It started in late March and slowed due to low temperatures, to come up with new vigor in a hot and humid April.
The spring flowed smoothly and with abundant precipitations, adding almost 100 mm until the flowering in the first week of June. This generated an unusual availability of water that made the strain vegetate without problems or stress. A warm June and July helped to a balanced and healthy vegetative cycle. Temperatures decreased again in August, improving the thermal jump between day and night and leading to a slow maturation in which the strain retained all its natural acidity and freshness of aromas.
The harvest began finally in the first days of October marked by some episodes of rain that impressed its rhythm to the creatures. In the end an abundant harvest was collected, of vibrant tannin, fresh and of fresh aromas.
