Varietal: Nebbiolo. Harvest: end of October. Vinification and Refinement: Grapes are fermented in small steel tanks and pumped over repeatedly, followed by decantation, malolactic fermentation sur lie and further decantation. Refinement: 30 months in oak casks, 6 months in barriques and 6 months in the bottle.
Tasting notes Colour: intense ruby red with deep garnet hues.
Bouquet: strong scent of blackberry and ripe red fruit with pleasant spicy and balsamic notes. Flavour: harmonious, persistent, intense and mouth-filling.
How to serve:
In a glass suitable for an important red wine, at a temperature of 16/18º. Serve with: wild game, roasts and strongly flavoured cheeses.
