Adega Cooperativa de Borba

Adega Cooperativa de Borba was founded in 1955, being the first of a series of wineries established in Alentejo, at a time when the sector did not have the protagonism it has today in the regional economy.

Today, the winery has 270 associated winegrowers who cultivate around 2200 hectares of vineyards, spread over 70% red varieties and 30% white varieties.

Adega de Borba has been growing and constantly modernizing for more than five decades.
