Calem 10 years - Port Wine

The Calem 10 Years is a tawny port wine crafted from hand-picked grapes such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Barroca. The grapes are destemmed, crushed and converted into wine through a careful maceration process, extracting their colour, tannins and aromas. This wine undergoes fermentation in vats at a controlled temperature until the right degree of sweetness is achieved, then grape brandy is added to create the final fortified wine. The blend is made by combining wines of different harvests that have matured in oak casks for varied periods of time, resulting in an array of sensory qualities typical of aged tawny Port wines.

The Calem 10 Years boasts an appealing golden colour with a topaz rim. It has a powerful nose with aromas of dried fruit, wood and delicious hints of chocolate.
