The Dona Ermelinda red is a delightful blend of Castelão, Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional. The vinification process involves fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with an extended maceration period. This red wine is then matured for 6 to 8 months in French and American oak, ensuring a well-rounded flavor profile.

The palate shows a red fruit aroma perfectly balanced with the wood, evolving to notes of dry fruits and spices. This wine is soft in the mouth, with a good structure.

It is the perfect companion for meat dishes, cod and cheeses.
