Description | Ferreira Ruby - Port Wine
The Ferreira Ruby is a classic port wine, young and attractive. Produced with a blend of Douro grape varieties: Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional.
Ferreira Ruby port, as the name implies, is a wine with an intense ruby color. Its aromas are reminiscent of ripe fruit, outlined by aging in wood. It is a full-bodied and rich wine, well balanced between sweetness and tannin structure, with a very persistent and fine finish.
It traditionally accompanies creamy cheeses, but also goes well with chocolate desserts and fruit pies. It is usually drunk at room temperature but is also very pleasant served chilled or on the rocks.
