Aveleda Loureiro Alvarinho - White Wine

Aveleda Loureiro Alvarinho White Wine is a fresh and expressive white from Portugal’s Vinho Verde region, made from two of the area’s most celebrated grape varieties: Loureiro and Alvarinho. Crafted by Quinta da Aveleda, it reflects the lively, aromatic character for which Vinho Verde is well known. This blend is made with 70% Loureiro and 30% Alvarinho. The grapes are picked at night to help retain their natural freshness and aromatic purity. After a gentle, low-pressure pressing, the wine is fermented at carefully controlled temperatures. It then stays on its lees in stainless steel tanks, enhancing both its aromatic intensity and its smooth, rounded mouthfeel. On the nose, it shows vibrant aromas of elderflower, passion fruit and citrus, largely driven by Loureiro. The Alvarinho brings delicate hints of tropical fruit and white blossom, along with added texture and elegance.
