Mateus

The Mateus brand was created in 1942 by Sogrape and its founder, Fernando van Zeller Guedes.

The remarkable bottle of the Mateus Rosé wine, which is inspired by the canteens used by soldiers in the First World War, contributed to the enormous success of the brand, standing out among all others on the market.

Through Mateus, rosé wine gained a new visibility.
