Taylors Tawny - Port Wine

Taylor’s Fine Tawny is a finely crafted selection known for its smoothness and mellow character. The wines used in its creation are aged for up to three years in oak casks in Taylor’s cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. Each individual wine is then blended together a few months before bottling to ensure balance and completeness.

The tasting notes reveal a pale brick colour with a broad amber rim, a mellow nose of succulent ripe berry fruit, and aromas of butterscotch, figs, and prunes interwoven with attractive nutty and spicy details. On the palate, it is smooth and round, filled with rich strawberry jam flavours.

As a dessert wine, Taylor’s Fine Tawny pairs wonderfully with flavours of almonds, berry fruit, or dark chocolate. It can also be enjoyed with rich, blue cheeses.
