Italian wines are known worldwide. Italy is currently the largest wine producer in the world and is also the country with the oldest wine regions.

New Zealand is made up of two islands, the North Island and the South Island, the latter being the southernmost wine region in the world. In New Zealand, winemaking takes place in a wide range of microclimates and soil types, producing a wide variety of styles.

Spain has 62 registered wine regions. It is the third largest wine producing market and it is also the country with the largest area for growing vines in the world.

The United States of America is the fourth largest wine producer in the world but only three states produce wine: Washington, Oregon and California.
