Royal Oporto Extra Dry - Port Wine

Royal Oporto Branco Extra Seco is a dry white Port from Real Companhia Velha, crafted in Portugal’s Douro and Porto region. Produced from Malvasia Fina, Donzelinho Branco, Viosinho and Gouveio grapes, this versatile Port offers a crisp, refreshing style that suits relaxed drinking occasions and lighter serves.

Its character comes from an extra-dry winemaking approach, with grape spirit added right at the end of fermentation, once almost all residual sugar has disappeared. This creates a well-balanced white Port with a notably drier profile. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats under controlled temperatures, before the wine is matured for around 18 months in oak casks.

In the glass, Royal Oporto Branco Extra Seco shows a pale straw-yellow colour. The nose combines fresh fruit aromas with subtle raisin notes, while the palate is lively, smooth and well-defined. Best served chilled, it can be enjoyed on its own, over ice with a twist of orange, or as a stylish base for a Port and Tonic. Elegant yet easy-going, it is a classic white Port with a modern, food-friendly appeal.
