Taylors Select Reserve - Port Wine

Taylor’s Select Reserve Port is a superb blend of red wines sourced from the Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo regions of the upper Douro Valley. These wines are renowned for their deep color, intense fruitiness, and firm palate. The wines are matured for approximately three years in oak vats, allowing them to soften and develop without losing their vibrant fruity character and deep ruby color. The tasting notes reveal a deep ruby-red hue, with a garnet rim, and a classic intense black fruit nose. This full-bodied port delivers a firm, vigorous palate, with powerful fruit flavors and a long finish.

It pairs excellently with classic port and cheese combinations, particularly a good farmhouse cheddar. It is also delicious with dark chocolate or berry fruit desserts.
