Description | Burmester 20 years - Port Wine
Burmester 20 Years Old Tawny is a luxurious port wine made from traditional Douro grape varieties. Hand-picked at the optimum time, the grapes are carefully macerated to extract their color, tannins, and aromas. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, with constant churning until the desired degree of sweetness is achieved. At this point, grape brandy is added to create the final fortified wine.
The resulting blend beautifully expresses the characteristics given by the ageing in wood. Served slightly chilled, this exquisite port wine is an ideal choice for starters such as strong cheeses and pâté.
