Burmester 10 years - Port Wine

Burmester 10 Years Old Tawny is a high-quality blend of traditional Douro grape varieties including Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Barroca. Hand-picked at the perfect time, the grapes are destemmed, crushed and converted into wine through a process of careful maceration to extract their color, tannins and aromas, which are enhanced by constant churning during fermentation.

The wine is matured in oak casks for varied periods of time, with the average age of all the wines in the blend defining the age on the label. This careful process of blending and ageing results in a rich and complex tawny Port wine expressing the characteristics given by the ageing in wood.

Originating from the traditional terraced vineyards of the Porto and Douro region, this wine is the perfect accompaniment to starters such as strong cheeses and pâté.
